Vice President - Gas Processing
Mr. Whatley is Vice President - Gas Processing for Sendero Midstream. With a concentration in the midstream sector Wes has 17 years in the energy industry. He is highly experienced in all aspects of oil and gas midstream management, engineering, construction, and operations, as well as refinery engineering and operations. Before joining Sendero, he spent 2 years with Lucid Energy Group, as a Senior Project Manager, constructing and operating multiple cryo plants, compressor stations, amine plants, JT skids, stabilizers, dehy’s, gas gathering pipelines, oil gathering pipelines, pumping stations, and oil delivery terminals. Prior to Lucid, Wes was Vice President of Engineering & Construction for TransTex Hunter, LLC, formerly TransTex Gas Services, LP. He was instrumental in growing the company from a small startup to the largest privately owned natural gas rental treating company in the US when it was sold in April 2012. Before TransTex, Wes started his career with UOP, LLC as both a development engineer in R&D and chief technical advisor for Field Operating Services (FOS). In his tenure in FOS, Wes travelled full-time over 39 months to 19 different countries completing 30 assignments with a wide range of refining process technologies. His education includes a BS in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and also an Executive MBA from Texas A&M University.
